Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

Madrid brought together religious, cultural and social voices to celebrate cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, hosted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can help build more inclusive communities.

In the discussion, participants explored themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of news european union Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
